Do I need to make a reservation, or can I walk in?
We always recommend booking ahead online or by phone to secure your preferred vehicle, but walk-ins are welcome! If a car is available, we’ll be happy to help you get on the road right away.
Can I rent a car if I’m under 21 years old?
Yes! As long as you meet the legal driving age and have valid driver’s documents, you can rent a car with Icon Car Rentals. No special young-driver restrictions apply.
What are your operating hours?
We’re open Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Feel free to visit or schedule a pickup during our business hours at 901 E Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23222.

Can I return my rental after business hours?
At this time, all drop-offs must be completed during business hours (Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM). Our team will gladly assist you with a smooth and quick return process when you arrive.
What payment methods do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept major credit cards, debit cards, and secure online payments. Please ensure the payment method is under the renter’s name at the time of pickup.

What is your fuel policy?
When you rent a car from Icon Car Rentals, the vehicle will have a set fuel level at pickup. We ask that you return it with the same amount of fuel when you drop it off. This helps us keep our rentals ready for the next customer and ensures fair, transparent pricing for everyone.
